Any Arowana owners herE?

    im lookin to buy one...but want to hear some opinion on it first...

    first of all, i heard that its good luck or something?

    as for food? they have to eat another fish? they cant take those regular flakes or something??

    do they cost a lot to maintain?

    then again im all for advice...please help!

    i dont own one anymore, and i didn't have much success with the one that I was given... it lived for 2 years.
    They prefer to eat live food, if it's lifeless and just floating, they wont eat it (mine wouldn't eat "dead" food). We ended up feeding it live crickets, worms, krill and small goldfish. They dont cost alot to maintain, but you do need alot of variety in food, the tank needs to be clean for them to be healthy.
