Looking for a new mouse, I still use the hockey puck that came with my G3. I've tried Apple's laser mouse, it sucks, doesn't like fast movement. Did some searching on 'net but the gaming mice are for PCs. Anybody have a suggestion.

the G5 Lazer is a step up. and if you want wireless the G7 is the best for gaming.

Not all optical mice use lasers. Most use LEDs, and to my knowledge, only the Logitech MX1000 uses a laser so far, but there could be others by now.

also the g5 and g7, along with various notebook mice from logitech, and a few desktop and laptop mice from razor, microsoft and kensington. my vote is for the mx1000. i'd choose it over the g7 for better price, better battery life (despite no swappable batteries) and the extra button they took off the g7.

seriously, get a logitec laser mouse (any form of laser...not optical!) and you're good to go.
