Do most/some/all/none armband holders allow the iphone to fit in them, when you normally keep it in its own case for normal use and don't want to have to pull it out of its case to fit into an armband holder? Thanks!

This may have been addressed all ready, my apologies if it has, missed it.

All the armbands I have used have required removal of the case.

Switching it back and forth would not be practical imo. I guess I'll just keep it in my gym shorts pocket while running, maybe wrapped in a plastic bag. Thanks!

I felt that way at first, but it's just habit for me now.

You could try getting an armband that is for a larger phone and put it in there..

I got one of these instead of an arm band, and I'm never ever looking back, they're amazing- http://www.iphone5cases.com/507/other-iphone-5-accessories/flipping-out-over-the-flipbelt

The iPhone almost disappears in the belt, and you just slip it under your shirt and you're good to go.

That case saw the very smooth and smart out! I wished they had dealers in Europe .. do you think you can have an iPhone 4/4S or 5 cases with something and they would fit? Viewing it on video, so it looks that it would be possible.

You or anyone else know of no similar cases like this? I'm thinking to buy otherwise XtremeMac Sport Wrap or Belkin Easefit to my otherwise. Now when I saw this, I would rather have this.

This looks.. Interesting.

Since I got my iPhone 5 I don't look at it much, since I have Siri and I just ask the time or to read a text or call someone.

I might have to check this out.

$5 coupon code: iphone5sarmbands not sure how long this code will last. Total (with shipping, from Walnut, CA.) came out to $7.85

A warning, I bought that same one on eBay and it has a foam backing which is comfortable but will allow moisture in quite badly. I have used it twice and will not use it again since the last time there was a lot of moisture on the back of my phone.

How much do you sweat that it could damage your phone? This is a real question. I sweat a moderate amount but my shirts not soaked or anything.

I bought a Belkin armband and it seems the sweat goes right through into the iPhone. Do other brands have this problem?

Just wanted to chime in to say that i've got the armpocket for my iPhone 5, and I think it works great. Phone and stuff inside don't get soaked from sweat, and the band itself is pretty comfortable without much chafing going on. If i had to purchase again I might consider the large version though, since the medium one is a little snug when I try to fit more than my phone and a couple gels and keys in it.

Will chime in as well :) My take on armbands, they take a lot of abuse so you want to choose something reliable and durable, and also make sure it comes with a decent warranty. Just from my experience, for example, if Arkon has 2 year warranty on their armband (and car mounts), it means that product has been tested to survive the abuse. Oh, and hundreds of 5-star reviews on Amazon helps too ;) For iPhone 5 without a case, XL-Armband works great (http://www.amazon.com/Arkon-Running-Jogging-Neoprene-Mid-Sized/dp/B00585CLUE/), while XXL-Armband great when I have case on (http://www.amazon.com/Running-Jogging-Neoprene-Motorola-Mid-Sized/dp/B00771G040/)

Old thread, I know;). I'm looking for an armband, I picked up a Belkin one, but I'm hoping for something I can see better when strapped to my arm. And something I can put a key in, I saw the Marblue has a spot for a key and it's a great idea. And suggestions?

I have been very happy with my armpocket for running, hiking and the gym since I got it. I made a little review when I bought it since I spent a lot time after looking for the best option for me.

I would assume that armpocket has released new products since my review.

I was looking at this, wasn't sure I'd like it. How easy is it to get the phone in/out while using it?

It isn't a armband but it is better for running. I ran a half marathon trail race with it and I couldnt have asked for anything better. I used it in conjunction with the nike running app so it is easy to see your distance and pace at any time. There is also enough room in the pouch for a key and a gel and maybe even some cash or a card.

Got this in the mail yesterday and got to test it out, for me this is perfect. You do need both hands to remove the phone. It's basically a tube with slits, where you can put your stuff through and stays pretty secure. For keys it has a little tether where you can clip your keys onto so they don't accidentally fall out.

new neoprene armband model

i have one of these new Neoprene iPhone Armbands which is made of a better quality material than all of it's predecessors. http://bit.ly/neopreneggarmband

It comes with some free ebooks too but not sure if they are of any use. There are loads of other models coming out too that can fit more than one model of phone. thats one thing to keep in mind that you might want an armband that can fit more than your current phone?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a armband holder for the iPhone 5. Anyone have any experience with some that they care to share?

I hope to find one that I can easily remove from the armband, and can access the screen easily.

Thanks.

Citron FastClip from Griffin Technology is the perfect Armband for your iPhone 5. It comes with a single stretch of comfortable band that can fit any circumference. If you want to access your iPhone quickly. Just slide it, case and all, out of the clip, and slide it back in to resume.

Along with that, it can also act as a stand and belt clip case for your iPhone.

I don't use an armband but I would suggest getting a universal belt clip and putting it in there. That's what I do and it seems to work well. I just have to put the headphones around my back and up over my shoulder to prevent them from flapping around.
