any thoughts on when 2015 rMBPs refers will appear?

Looking for a 13" rMBP with 8/256mb.

after investigating driving a 4k monitor, I didn't really see that much difference between the 5k iMac and the thunderbolt display.

However, I do really like the new track pad.

But will also be interested to see what happens to the prices of the 2014s and what price the 2015s come in at.

The Mac Pro refurbs took about that long to appear but I think MBP take less time since more people buy them and there's a higher return rate. Already there's many people who have returned their 15" rMBP because of dents or just simply not happy with the heat issue. Does it take 6-8 month to fix the dent or the issue and put it up as refurb?

There's also the volume issue, which goes to your return rate observation. Apple processes machines in batches and if there isn't an economically sensible number to process, they'll wait.

For whatever reason, the iPad Air 2s only became available as refurbs last month, which was a very long time.

I see, so they will wait until they have an X amount of a refurb model before posting it online? I thought as soon as they had 1-2 they would post it. I know that was the case since I was looking for a Refurb 2012 Mac Pro and once in a while a 12 core would appear and there were only 1-2 that you could buy.

Wow, that seems speedy. Excellent news for those who want a great deal. I wonder how long they'll last!
