I sometimes plug my ATV4 into a projector that has a native resolution of 1280x800. Unfortunately though it ends up outputting video at 1280x720, which leaves a small margin of pixels on the top and bottom of the screen unused.

This is of course not an issue for most HD movies and content, since it's already at 16:9 or wider, which means those pixels wouldn't be used anyway. However, if I could get native 1280x800 output, I could get a slightly larger image when watching 4:3 content.

The only option I see is "720p" which is 1280x720. Anyone manage to get 1280x800 out of it? Should I just give up on those 80 pixels? :)

Can't be done, I'm afraid. I wish it would do 1600x1050 for the Cinema Display
