I just bought a brand new macbook pro because my old computer got fried. I transferred the hard drive into a hard drive enclosure, but when I try to reload all of my iTunes, it says that it cannot be recognized as a valid export. I still have all of my music on my iPod. I have spent nearly $100 on music and movier and I need a solution. Anyones help would be greatly appreciated.

iTunes now has the ability to sync purchased songs/movies etc. from the iTunes Store FROM your iPod TO your computer if it is authorised to use your iTS account.

So, use iTunes for purchased stuff and Senuti for all the rest.

What format is the HDD in? Mac OSX can read both NTFS and FAT32 and can also write to FAT32. Just interesting that your drive can't be seen.
