i went on the ram seeker website and was glancing around and found that they have prices that seem to good to be true for RAM for the powerbook.

for instance i see 1gb ram sticks for around $200???????!!!!

    here's the link

should i give them a shot or just stick with crucial?

The one gig module i see on their site for the new powerbooks is $549. Where do you see them for $200 was it for an older powerbook? Can the older powerbooks even accept a 1gig module? I think my tibook is limited to a gig of ram max.

a few years ago i got a 1gig kit for my tibook from them. been working perfectly ever since. i'd go with them and save your money. they have a lifetime warranty.

It's not cheap, but I think ramjet.com has the best memory.

I bought a 512mb stick from them for my Pismo Powerbook about 6 months ago. No problems.
