Anyone having problems with software updater?

or downloading the latest update from apple?

I cannot get the file to go more than 3.1 mb, of the 215 MB combo intel updater?

This is either on the mac, or a two pcs on the network.

I ALSO cannot get the software updater to update or install anything?

I have tried just the itunes update on the imac, 15mb update and EVERY TIME it gets to 10.1 mb, and then just stops.

I get sometimes a POSIX error in the download box, other times just a network error?

Maybe try resetting your router/modem. If the two PCs are having the same problem, then I don't think it's a Software Update issue. I think it's more likely a network or ISP issue.

well, I have tried that. Things I have tried
rebooting modem
rebooting router
shutting off all other devices on router
changing cables

I just don't understand why they stop at the same place everytime.

Can you download other large files from the Apple servers?
