a friend of mine wants to sell her G4 tower...

    400 Mhz
    128 MB RAM
    10 gig hard drive
hockey puck mouse & small usb keyboard
    17" Apple CRT

I know she's barely even used the thing...I'm trying to figure out a way to take it off her hands but I doubt I can...

    anyone interested by chance?

How much is she asking? The time will come soon (this July HOPEFULLY! :D ) that I will have to look into selling my computer with the same specs. Mine also comes with a 17" graphite studio display, a gig of RAM and an external QPS CD-RW, so I was thinking around $1500. Do you guys think that's fair?

I might be interested except for the CRT. I bet she wants to sell it all in one bang, huh? Also, how much??

she's looking to get $500 for the tower...I'd be willing to bet she'll take the best offer....she knows it's lacking in some areas of desire...

as for the CRT...I'd want that thing for myself....but I'm a little leary about the Apple Displays since I've heard of a few that went out after only a year of regular use...she on the other hand hasn't used her's much...

350 for the tower alone, no monitor! :D

Eye, I am on a 6 year old Apple Display at this moment. Gets non stop use, and works great! Apple 17in MultiScan!

Yeah, the Apple Multi Scan we had just died after over 7 years of use. I wouldn't be too worried about longetivity. :)
