Does anyone know what a french 12" powerbook keyboard looks like? Are the keys totally different or is it still totally usable? Also, are 12" PB keyboards interchangeable throughout the 867, 1ghz, 1.33ghz and 1.5ghz line of 12" PBs? (In other words, can I switch keyboards? This one is a 867mhz.)

    Thanks!

For french (unless im thinking swiss, i forgot, an aquiantance had a foriegn dell) keyboards, V and Y are switched, and some keys have up to 4 different carachters on them (accents and what not).

You will have qw exhanged with az, the m will be next to the l, you'll have to use shift for the numbers and many others keys are not are the same place. You can adapt it easily, the problem is for a french using an english keyboard, we don't have the accents!

If i program the computer for English, can I just use it and pretend that it's an English keyboard or do I have to buy a new keyboard?

    Thanks for the picture.
