I was listening to a lot of Beatles music Sunday and Monday since they were in the news a lot. Their song "Rain" was made with forwards and backwards bits of tape, so you hear the same chorus with both "raaaaaaaain" and "niaaaaaaaar".

Does 'Work It' by Missy Elliott count? :p

I'm a big Missy fan, and she says "I put my thang down flip it and reverse it" backwards in the chorus.

Things like that are what set Missy apart from other artists, and ultimately put her in a 1 person genre. Go missy! :D

I only listen to music playing backwards...

by doing so, I can better hear the evil messages that are hidden within the tracks which want to make me go take drugs and kill my self in a satanic kind of way...

I always do that on my Pat Boone, Creed, and Jars Of Clay records... those guys are frikken evil folk, damnit!!!

    ;) :D

Yeah I also like it when you make them talk really fast and it makes it sound like Chipmunks or something...

    Your a loser

I dont know if you guys ever heard of the band called smash mouth (the band that did the opening scene for shrek) well if you play their song in reverse when the song is 2:27 in (its been playing for 2 min 27 secs) then you can hear the song say "What a loser you are" :p

The only time I've ever listened to any song backwards was just to hear what Pete Buck's backward solo on 'What's The Frequency Kenneth?' actually sounded like. :)

    But that's it. ;)

There's a song by Weird Al called... "What About Larry" I believe that if you play a part of it backwards it says that you have too much free time on your hangs.

open up Sound Studio (should be in applications folder)
File —> Import with QuickTime, then select the song. It will take a few seconds to open. Then Select All (command + a ) Then Filter —> Backwards

Oh, that's why I couldn't figure it out. My rev B 12" Powerbook currently running Panther 10.3.4 didn't come with Sound Studio.

I can't remember the song or band, but there's one that goes "little lamb, little lamb, Mary classic" when played backwards. Not particularly interesting but it's the best I have.
