I tried yellowdog on an old Bondi blue but it wouldn't boot from the CD, then again, the CD is funky in that old beast anyway, I run Ubuntu on quite a few machines, as a matter of fact I switched all of my servers from OS X server to ubuntu LAMP servers (Just to stop having to lean on my mac guru buddies so much) I figure if it breaks I'll be forced to learn...lol.. its pretty amazing how close most things are to X server...
