Hi - hope this thread is in the right place. I just needed to know if anyone has used Toon Boom Studio before and if there was a book on it (how to use it) since I won't be learning an 2D animation for 2-3 more sem. at school, thought I would get a jump start on it while I can. ;)
Any help on a different program (2D) would be great also. Thanks :)

I've seen it in use and played around with it on a Powerbook. If you know how to use Flash it should be pretty easy to pickup without a book. However, I'm certain there is a book. (Try Amazon?)

Thanks, I don't know how to use flash but its time to start
I found this program pretty cheap through an edu site (student/teacher) edition so it should be interesting

It comes with a tutorial, but I don't know how in depth the tutorial is.

Thanks for the help--I was able to find a demo of it and it comes with a tutorial so i'll sit down Sat/Sun and read through it/watch it.
I thought it would need a PM to run but if i'm reading right it only calls for a G3 :D Even better since I have an eMac and soon to be iBook.
    Thanks again everyone ;)
