    Foolish :p.

    16GB new iPad and dropbox.

$99 / year for 50GB cloud storage of anything you want in a file. Transfer any file easily from mac to ipad and keep it on your iphone too.

So I win. Save $200 (compared to 64GB model) + get 66GB of storage.

Yes I will pay $99 per year for the service but all of you that upgrade to the 64GB will pay $200 per year more or each year you upgrade.

    Dropbox users are #winners

    :)

Dont neg me bro: The word foolish is not directed at anyone. More of a playful joke. Hense the smilies all over :) Friendly neighborhood. Mr. Rogers.

Edit: just read on drop box site you don't even need an internet connection... "Works even when offline. You always have your files, whether or not you have a connection"

Further proves my point unless you're creepy and have 16gb of apps.

I appreciate your suggestions but no need to call others foolish.

I have Dropbox upgraded AND a 64 GB iPad

Everyone has different uses and needs
    One size doesn't fit all
    Or everyone's work flow

That's why there are different colors, models and a WiFi only option

    64gb. FTW

No Internet in some places, ie plane. So no dropbox access. smart move to have more storage space.

If you're without an internet connection, having an iPad full of HD content would be most bodaciously excellent, would it not?

I see a lot of negative votes in your future...

I'm pro 16gb but you didn't add about getting the data on your iPad. Part of going with a larger model is to do without net

I can't download apps to Dropbox. My 16GB iPad was closely approaching its limit, mostly because of the space taken up by apps. (And yes, I used pretty much all of those apps -- I don't just download them to download them.)

I am going to use my iPad, among other things, to record and mix my own music. I have a feeling it will fill up super quick.

You may not always have a connection to the cloud...
You may deal with large video/photo files, especially with the great editing tools now available, that requires a certain amount of available local storage...
You may have sensitive corporate usage that doesn't allow for cloud storage...

    To each his own!

Dropbox or iCloud can't storage apps for you above 16gb ipads... I have well more than 20-30gb worth of apps in my ipad. :D

Well then, you need to add in the cost of the data plan, plus the $130 3G/4G tax, neither of which someone with a 64GB wifi would be paying.

Buying more storage than you need is a little foolish.

Discovering after the fact you should have bought more storage is fairly foolish.

Going on a message board full of people obsessively waiting for their new toys and calling most of them fools? That is trollish.

You don't wait. And you'd have to download your movie to your iPad without Dropbox anyway. Moot point

Calling other people foolish without being able to justify or validate your argument makes you foolish. Starting a pointless and ridiculous thread makes you even more foolish.
