Hi everyone!
I just got my brand new 17" powerbook a few days ago and I love every aspect of it. I did have one problem however. I would like to be able to view my AOL mail account in the mail app in OSX. Is there a way to do this. I called AOL and they said that forwarding my mail to another server was not available on the Mac, but I dont think the guy know what he was talking about. Thanks for your help.

I am not an AOL user, so I can not answer your question, but the person you talked to sounds like a moron.

Mail forwarding is done by AOL, and has no knowledge of your platform. They do it with their servers, not your laptop.

But- congrats on the 17". I have one and I know you will fall in love with it, if you haven't already!

If you have any questions, give the forums a search, and if you can't find the answer there, many people here will be more than willing to help you.

Does AOL give you use of pop3? if so...

NOTE: some of the values might change, look around the internet for those.
