So on my work macbook there are some applications which have been installed by the previous user to me, and its continuously prompting me to update. Now I don't actually use any of these applications, but I want to stop the pop ups and the red dots telling me I need to update.

The only problem is the app store is signed in as me, but when I go to update it prompts me for the password for the guy who had my job before, and has now left..... Is there anyway I can just totally stip his account and installed software out?

Its just stuff like garageband etc.... all stuff I don't need for work
