Apple adds History Channel to iTunes US

    That's awesome. I love that channel. It's better than buying them from the channel. They usually charge $20 to buy a 1 hour show. Now we need Discovery.

    I second that! I can't tell you how many times I've thought a History Channel show would be cool to own, but then they say it's $20 or more. I don't even pay that much for a blockbuster movie. :rolleyes:

    A little insider info...
    Having worked on History Channel shows for more years than I care to count I can tell you that they barely sell enough DVDs to cover the costs of the air time for the commercial selling them at the end of each show. They will dramatically increase their revenue by selling shows on iTunes.
