We'll know in a few hours if analysts are underestimating Apple again or not.

I'm half expecting a few "Apple death knells" if Apple does outstanding well, yet doesn't do BETTER than analysts predicted.

I'm expecting Apple to repeat their stance from previous quarters....

That is, report outstanding numbers that exceed analyst expectations, yet provide a cautious foreward-looking guidance. IMO, that's the smart thing to do. It keeps expectations reasonable. Overall though, Apple is still outperforming competitors such as Dell, HP, etc... things look good!

I guess people aren't as concerned with the Intel switch as we thought. I know I'm still buying a new PowerMac, PPC and all. I'm sure the stock will still dip a bit as some people start to sell afterwards (always happens), but who ever thought they'd be doing this good. That's why it's so funny when people diss the iPod because they think Apple should be more focused on computers. ;) iPod = good.

Agreed. The computers are already pretty frickin' sweet and underrated by the majority of computer users. What's wrong with developing the iPod into something equally awesome as to attract those users who wouldn't otherwise buy Apple?

I think Apple has thought this through.
