Apple at Mars

    The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter arrived at Mars March 10th and early this morning took it's first test images, the team are all using Apple computers:

    OH. MY. GOD.

    People say mac users are paying for design?

    I wonder how much those sweet flames add to the price of that rig?

    EDIT - can that thing drive 4 30 inch displays?

    And wondering just how fast it can crash or how many fps you can get during the "blue screen of death". ;) :)

    1 FPS???

    but you are achieving that with a quad GFX card. so that's pretty impressive....
