I think that Apple is taking the right steps to resolve this, but the MPs involved here remind me of that famous Babbage quote.... No one who bought an iPod, least of all early adopters, should be astonished at the concept that Li-Ion and Li-Poly batteries have a limited lifetime. It's nothing new, and as far as I can see, there has been a miserable failure to demonstrate that there is anything wrong with either the iPod or the battery it uses that causes batteries in iPods to deteriorate in a worse way the Li-Ion or Li-Poly batteries in anything else.

That really is too bad that Apple isn't doing more for its international customers. Tsk, tsk.

They're getting better. When I imported my iBook from the US in 2003, I saved $800. Today, buying locally is $100 cheaper than importing :)

All they need to do is to state the price in sterling. How hard can it be?
