Apple did acknowledge the silent release of the PPC mini on their site

    its important only because people were getting seemingly random upgrades to their minis.

    Let's recap:

    Jan 2005: launch original Mac mini
    Sept 2005: launch rev b Mac mini (standard 512 MB RAM, no modem, Airport + BT standard)

    Maybe you're referring to the 1.5 GHz model??

    I blieve he's refering to the upgraded mac mini that apple never officially announced, people jus ended up getting 1.67Ghz G4's in the minis, either it was 1.67 or 1.5 , i dont remember. But in any case, even though they didnt announce it officially, its obvious that they're gonna have to list it in the tech specs
