Apple gets shirty about open source podcasting tool

    Shirty? I for one applaud Apple in defending their trademarks without being unreasonable about it, at least in this case.

    I'd have gone with "Podcaster Studio" or something with podcast in it, instead of something with iPod in it.

    PS, this use of "shirty" on ZDnet Business>Legal may have a record-breaking ratio of Buffy-quote-obscurity vs. mainstream-humorless-content.

    At least they were nice about it. I always picture Apple Legal as the leg breakin' type.

    Yes, I guess it's not quite as bad if you get a nice letter instead of something more resembling a death threat. I though they were were of the "leg breakin'" type. Maybe it was new layer? :p

    (I also seem to remember that Google use to be pretty nice about this kind of things).

    Ah! A piece of the puzzle falls into place. It was Spike who said that after all...

    And I thought I watched enough BBC TV. Must need to watch some more.
