I can't believe it... the perfect notebook, twice :)
For the powerusers 17inches, 333Mhz DDR, 64MB Graphics. This stuff goes head to head with anything DELL or IBM can offer!
And if you want something portable, DDR and 1Ghz in a 12inch model... Add Bluetooth, 54Mbps Wireless plus 800Mbps Firewire and it is notebook heaven...

Apple has done it again.
I'm speechless.
What do you guys think?

By the way ahm, does anyone have 3000 bucks to spare? I kinda wanna upgrade... :)

All in all I think it's a pretty good update, it's a shame there was no speed boosts but at least the new PB's are using DDR now. But, I have to say that I'm not convinced about the 17" model, I just think it's too big.

One Problem,

Although Steve said next Month, look at Apple's web site:

PowerBook 17TFT/1GHz-333/512DDR/60G/SuperDrive/
64VRAM/56K/AIRPT EST Ship: 7-10 weeks

That's two months!

7 Weeks is the end of next month. And depending on the number of actual orders already placed when you looked, the lead time could've increased.

This has happened to a couple of new products in the past year.
