Business 2.0 claims that the browser is a primitive and unintuitive way to access the plethora of information available on the Internet.

In the future, suggests Business 2.0, the internet's compendium of resources will be accessed through specialized apps that gather specific information from various resources.

Only two applications are cited as shining examples of what is to come.

Sherlock and iTMS. If you got page 2 of the article, the author suggests that Windows users may not even be able to comprehend the way that Mac users access song information and purchase music online using iTMS: No, not from a browser, but from a totally unrelated application.

Definitely a pro-Mac article. Nice to see Apple getting credit.

Don't forget about Watson, while not made by Apple, is a great Mac app that is similar to Sherlock.
