As a new student at Iowa State University, I have been attending many of the "welcome" activities that ISU has offered us Freshman. One such activity was the "Welcomfest." At this "Welcomefest" many local buisnesses congrate in a large hall and set up booths where they give out free stuff and talk about their buisness. There just happened to be an Apple booth, and after talking to the people there for about five minutes, they liked me so much that they mailed me a free poster! They actually took the time to mail this thing to my dorm as they didn't have it on them at the time. I looked up the poster online (its a 20th anniversary one with the famous 1984 woman on it) to see how much it retailed for, and I could only find it for $30 - $60! Talk about rewarding your customers, I don't know of any other company that would do such a cool thing.

Really, I have 6 still in their tubes that I got at MWSF '04. I guess I should put them up on ebay if they are going for that much.

Hey, you're in Ames? I'm down in Des Moines, welcome to the boards. Don't see many Iowans here often. Even if you're only temporarily an Iowan.

I work with a woman that lives in Eden Prairie...

Thanks Paul! Yeah, I just joined up this summer when I bought my 12" PB. Unfortunatly, shes out of commission for a few days. I had to send her back to Apple for a few repairs. No worries though, they do a great job. I can survive a few days without my baby!

My wife purchased one from a guy that attended MWSF. She paid $19.99 with S&H via Pay Pal.

Have you tried using a LOT of sticky tack? Mine was rolled up pretty good, I had to use tons of the stuff.

Do they make double sided duct tape? If so, that would be my next step. Pesky posters...

you could always just have it dry mounted if there was a real frame shop near you. or if you wanted to keep it in it's regular poster condition, you could have them put it in the drymount press without adhering it to any foamcore. that should be able to flatten it out pretty well.
