Hi all...woke up this morning to find that 4 keys on the apple keyboard that came with my g5 are no longer responding!!! They are:

    - The escape key
    - plus minus
    - The tab key
    - Caps lock

WTH is going on!! I tried reconnecting the keyboard to a different USB connection, disconnecting all other USB devices, restarting (about 10 times), all to no avail. Oddly, if I change the key for Caps Lock in System Prefs, to CTRL for example, the light works on the Caps lock button when you press CTRL but not when it's set as default. What can I do to sort this? Are there any particular prefs I can refresh to clear this bug, or do you think my keyboard is knackered?! Spose I could just borrow someone elses to find out...any help appreciated!

Does the keyboard work on another computer?

Do you have an Apple Store near you?

Go to the Apple store and explain. You'll probably walk out with a nice, shiny new Keyboard.

or call applecare if you don't have an Apple Store near.

Yes, call or bring it in. The standard warranty covers things like keyboards and mice if they ship with the computer.
