Anyone think they might release a version of the current keyboard with black keys?

no...it wouldn't go well with the white line...

it would create a white, silver, black contrast...thats too "dellish"

it's certainly possible. apple at one point sold the apple pro keyboard in both black and white versions.

thats without the current aluminum, though....

Apple would definitely get rid of the white if they were to go with it...

I think it would look good with aluminum keys.

isn't that kind of the point? the op asked if apple would release a keyboard with black keys in place of the white. i don't know, but it's certainly possible; apple's done it in the past.

Doesn't the MacBook Air have black keys? Could this be the future of Mac devices? I hope so, as I have never liked the white keys.

You can use an iSkin keyboard cover. But I really wish apple made one with black keys, it would match so much better. :(

Me too! Was thinking of changing my white keys on my iMac keyboard to black. There's gotta be some way. I hate the white keys. They get dirty so fast.

Im surprised there isnt even a decent 3rd party option for black keys/aluminum body. I'm not buying some dumb cover either...

I'm starting to think the white keys look stupid in front of the iMac now. Would also like a black alternative.
