I was reading Tom's Hardware and found an interesting article. Usually they never mention Apple, but they do when they are down on them.

What are your thought on this claim?

Will Apple respond or lose out to AMD in this space?

I never thought that Apple were very popular in the renderfarm business anyway? hasn't this always been the area of Sun and Silicon Graphics ?? I didn't see their names mentioned? maybe this is being pushed also by Microsoft with the iminent release of Windows XP 64bit ?

Apple really need to start making steps forward into servers, Quad G5 3U Servers etc.. and maybe even Blade G5 Servers? CPU/Ram on a card in a nice sleek Apple 3/4u blade head server.

Apple can't really lie on their laurels on this one, as it has been traditionally Apple's market.
