Apple Mac Pro is crowned the fastest "PC" in the UK

    It really was crowned the fastest "PC" by having all the tests performed in Windows. It aught to be interesting once the same tests are timed out in universal apps of Mac OS X. I wonder if that will yield numbers better or worse than XP...

    Ironic, when it was in the UK that Apple encountered problems with their "world's fastest PC" ad campaign when promoting the PowerMac G5 a couple of years ago.

    Did they test any of the other Xeon PCs out there? Or AMD for that matter?

    Testing only one machine hardly makes it the best ever... :rolleyes:

    they test loads of computers every day, and probably have a database of results, the proper review comes latter.

    The magazine test countless computers.

    The Mac Pro must be very very fast, it's hard to imagine anything being faster than my iMac at the moment (going from a P4 desktop PC and G4 PowerBook). I really need to see one of these in action.
