I switched my servers Name Servers and with that I got a new mail server with the same address as the old one (but the servers are different but its still at mail.DOMAIN.com). Apple Mail 2 on my Powerbook works fine still, but my mac mini says the server times out. I was told clearing the cache would fix this. How? and will this even fix it?

There really isn't a cache to clear, as such.

Have you double-checked the mail account settings on the mini?

Are the PowerBook and mini on the same LAN, and configured to use the same name server in their respective network prefs? I'm wondering is there may be a DNS TTL issue in there somewhere, and if the mini may be trying to talk to the old place.

It was all the same, I deleted the Mail Cache in Library, Cache, Mail and then I deleted the account and readded and restarted and it worked... Very odd.
