Apple Mail not reliably connecting to iCloud?

Anyone else notice that, within the last week or so, connections between Apple Mail often time out when trying to connect and sync with iCloud mail accounts?

Other accounts are unaffected, no iCloud downtime, iCloud website works fine, iPhone push works fine.

Running MBP on latest El Cap release.

Been like that for months for me. Haven't noticed any issues using iCloud web interface for Mail, or from my iPhone / iPad (doesn't mean it doesn't happen...), but tons of intermittent connection problems from my MBP.
