My question is: as time moves forward and we have more and more companies out there either run by people who simply don't care about anyone other than themselves, and companies based in other countries where either the culture doesn't share the same values we have here in the U.S. or their governments don't recognize or care about U.S. laws, put out more and more such products.

I know Sony has had their share of issues (having worked for them myself) with other companies actually putting the Sony name on their own products and selling them for half or less of what Sony would (USB flash drives come prominently to mind), and this company hasn't even been that egregious in what they've done.

    Thoughts, folks?

I hate to say it but this is clearly a simple case of patent infringement. They are selling the Dock Connector without paying Apple for the use.
