Apple ranks 23rd in consumer electronics sales
May 14, 2004 - 11:47 EDT** Thanks to amazing iPod sales and its growing retail presence, Apple moved from 34th to 23rd on the TWICE Top 100 CE Retailers Report with US$746 million in 2003 consumer electronics sales, a 94.8 percent increase over 2002. Apple made the list for the first time last year with $383 million in sales. The top ten retailers (in order) were: Best Buy ($19.5 billion), Wal-Mart ($15.7 billion), Circuit City ($9.75 billion), Dell ($6.26 billion), Target ($4.96 billion), RadioShack ($4.6 billion), Staples ($4.02 billion), CompUSA ($4.01 billion), Sam's Club ($2.76 billion), and Office Depot ($2.59).

    pretty nice I think.
