I currently run my MacBook in clamshell mode (closed) while hooked up to an external monitor. I have my iPod in its dock, which has a remote sensor, sitting near my MacBook. Since my MacBook is coupled with the remote and is hooked up my stereo I use the remote a lot to listen to music so I don't have to go across the room to the keyboard. But the problem is the iPod dock is getting the signal from the remote also, which causes things to act weird sometimes as far as searching through and playing music through iTunes. I'm wondering if there is a way to UN-link the Apple remote with just the iPod dock while still keeping it linked to my MacBook..

I know I can just not use the dock but I'm just wondering if there is a way..

    Thanks for the Feedback!
