Apple Seeds Third Beta of iOS 9.3.3 to Developers and Public Beta Testers

Apple today seeded the third beta of an upcoming iOS 9.3.3 update to developers and public beta testers for testing purposes, two weeks after seeding the second beta of iOS 9.3.3 and more than a month after the release of iOS 9.3.2, a minor bug fix update. iOS 9.3.3 has been in testing since May 23.

The third iOS 9.3.3 beta can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center or over-the-air with the proper configuration profile installed.

As a minor 9.x.x update, iOS 9.3.3 features under-the-hood bug fixes and performance improvements to address issues discovered since the release of iOS 9.3.2. No outward-facing changes or obvious bug fixes were discovered in the first two betas of iOS 9.3.3.

iOS 9.3.3 beta three follows the developer launch of iOS 10, a new version of iOS that will be released to the public this fall. We'll update this post with any changes that are found in the third iOS 9.3.3 beta.

I wish I could get it. Just release the damn public beta already! I have Sierra (you can just look up macOS Sierra download, you don't even need a dev profile), but iOS 10 is far more interesting and new.

Never have I been as unexcited about a major iOS release.

Should be released after when 9.3.3 goes on general release, might be July 11-15th for 10 PB if Apple sticks to their usual schedule

Apple doesn't give you much of a choice in the matter anymore. It's possible to stay on iOS 9 on devices that can go to iOS 10, but you'll have a hell of a time stopping it.

Not beta 3. Beta 2 has been out a few weeks now but B3 was just released today.

That may explain why is not showing on the iPad I use for 9.3.3 betas.

I have another iPad I'm going to use for iOS 10, but haven't flipped the switch yet. I'm concern about stability. I may wait until the next Beta.

Yeah, that really is annoying. I wish there was a way to turn those stupid prompts to update off. I can understand the first one to let you know an update is available but there should be a button to ignore after that.

Download PB profile. Thats what I did.

Exactly. Even aside from the initial prompts telling you the update is available, that stupid red badge that hangs on the top corner of the settings icon drives me nuts. Yes, I know an update is available. No, I don't want to update my kid's 4S because it already runs like molasses as it is.

That seems to be the case, thanks for clearing that up. Only recently switched the PB back on for my devices in anticipation of iOS 10 PB.

I think its on par with iOS 8. If you're saying that about iOS, you'll be greatly disappointed by Sierra.

Don't worry, download iso10, disassemble, disable the badge notification, recompile, and you'll never have the annoyance again.

Try restarting your phone. Should resolve the issue after restart.

I've been having all sorts of battery niggles since 9.3, eg battery suddenly dropping from 40 down to 5%. Hoping this version may offer a fix for this.
