Apple today seeded the second beta of an upcoming iOS 9.2.1 update to developers and public beta testers for testing purposes, nearly three weeks after seeding the first beta and almost one month after the public release of iOS 9.2. iOS 9.2, the second major update to iOS 9, introduced a very long list of bug fixes, along with feature improvements to Apple Music, News, Mail, iBooks, and more.

The second iOS 9.2.1 beta, build 13D14, is available as an over-the-air update for those who downloaded the first beta and it's also available from the Apple Developer Center.

It is not yet clear what changes iOS 9.2.1 will bring to iOS 9, but as it's a minor .1 update, it's likely to focus on performance improvements and introduce fixes for bugs that have been discovered since the release of iOS 9.2. No significant changes were discovered in the first beta, but we'll update this post if anything new is unearthed.

Comment I'm looking to make in a foreseeable future:

OMG I CAN UNINSTALL THE DEFAULT APPS, AND SET 3RD PARTY REPLACEMENTS.

For quite sometime now the only thing that changes is the number. Always having an issues with the firware after fixing the other another one comes out. SMH.

Oh god, I just noticed the lag. Never knew it was there before you told me, since i never use my phone in landscape mode.
Needless to say the lag is horrible and just painful to watch, it's like 5fps or lower.

Seriously, it is ridiculous. I have the 6s Plus, and even WITH reduce transparency on there is a very very noticeable lag when in landscape mode and using 3D Touch on the home screen.

Lag, lag, lag...Some glitch that has existed forever in IOS that no one notices, lag in another spot, and Apple is the best. :apple: Back to Snapchat!

I just want them to fix the super annoying quick reply bug that happens on the lockscreen. A weird outlined keyboard appears and the only way to get rid of it is reboot.

Weird. I'm seriously not seeing it look any different than in portrait mode on my 6S Plus. Not calling you a liar or anything like that, I'm just not seeing on my end. Either I'm blind or lucky lol
