    Found this:

We reported yesterday that a hacker known as Maxxuss released a preliminary patchset for Mac OS X v10.4.4 for Intel that breaks the security tying the operating system to Macintosh hardware. It seems that, in digging further into the operating system, he has discovered a message - a poem, actually - that several parts of the system look for. The message, after decryption by the trusted platform module, is as follows.

    Your karma check for today:
There once was a user that whined
his existing OS was so blind,
    he'd do better to pirate
    an OS that ran great
    but found his hardware declined.
    Please don't steal Mac OS!
    Really, that's way uncool.

Clever stuff from the OS X team. A similar, hidden message was found in the Intel version of Mac OS X earlier.

OSx86 Project originally received word of this find from Maxxuss.

it's pretty cool that coders leave little messages and egg's in their apps :) I spose you need to be careful about what you leave in there though... heh

Cute. :) I've always liked geek pranks. I love how all the old Amigas had code names like Rock Lobster and so on. :) And Guru Meditation errors. :) And the Amiga OS had some pretty good hidden messages too, that you could get at in the menu bar with different key combinations or something..... And then of course, so many Easter Eggs since then... I like the little things in Adobe's software particularly. :) A good tradition. :)
