And yet, Apple INSIST on forcing people to use a Mac or Quicktime to watch these events. How are they ever going to convince non-Apple users to BECOME Apple users, if they don't use STANDARDS (HTML5, MP4) to show their videos? Wake up, Apple - we aren't ALL using Macs and Quick(slow)time.

[EDIT]

Live stream: Requires a Mac or iOS device

After the fact: Same video is now suddenly platform agnostic!

Talk about inconsistency :/

hey if the spotlight search was moved back to the left side of home, what happens when you swipe down from the top like you have to in iOS 7 and iOS 8?

Everyone seems to be complaining about today's keynote, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm especially impressed with the new features and improvements coming to OS X and iOS 9. I just wish I could keep the iOS 8 Music app and adopt the rest... no streaming service for me!

So Apple is replacing the music App with this new one??

that's wrong. they want them to be entertaining. and they care about that.
They only care that you buy their products. Their primary goal is to inform developers. The "entertainment" bits are there to help ease the huge amounts of information. It's presentations 101. They are NOT there to entertain you. You can only buy one of the services they announced today.

What is the difference between iTunes Radio currently and the streaming portion of Apple Music? Is the only new portion of Apple Music Connect and Beats1?

I was ehhh on the streaming as well,I could be wrong but for 10 bucks we get access to everything in itunes(music only)? That's pretty damn good.

You still get the standard Spotlight search. Left side is search + all the new options.
