Im digging the notifications. Im too old for the fancy sms stuff. Im dissapointed in the lack of changes on the macos and tvos front.

bah... Glad I decided to watch this with the corner of my eye and 1 headphone, instead of saving the replay till after the football...

I'm not in the prime demographic anymore. :( Over 65 and retired. While I am impressed with what Apple is doing, I honestly don't think I am interested in more than about 10% of what I saw today, if that. I can only be thankful that the updates will be free cause I saw NOTHING worth spending money for.

Spoiler alert: For anyone who has not seen this - please don't watch it, it sucks. A lot. I mean, more than ever.

I like a lot of the new features announced.

  • SOS on AppleWatch
  • I'm glad they brought back locations to Photos
  • The more intelligent moments in Photos is also really cool, plus the ability to automatically create a video (ala iMovie Trailers)
  • It's great to finally be able to have Skype deeply integrated into the OS
  • Text transcriptions of voicemail
  • The ability to have apps integrate with the caller ID and see what might be spam, and not, etc
  • I actually think the messages additions are really nice and fun. I'll definitely be using them with my family. (I'm 26, not 12)
  • The ability to store files off in the cloud to save on storage space is awesome! To have that deeply integrated with the OS is amazing to say the least.

I mean the list goes on. I was really, really pleased with the announcements made. But it seems that I'm in the minority.

I was impressed too. Thought it was a pretty decent Keynote.

I was hoped Apple will introduce new Apple Music and finally add offline music feature for iPod nano. It's such a shame, that we can't upload music for offline listening and once per month checking via iTunes synchro, if you are still subscriber...

Second thing, where are new MacBooks and other Mac devices like Mac Mini, current Mac Mini is son of a joke, named crap...

I'm watching it now, can't wait to see what they have in store!

Also, why is everyone so negative about the whole thing? It brought a lot of great new stuff, and this is coming from a platform agnostic person. I'm impressed with what they did this year, much more exciting than last year's WWDC.
