In the new iMac video if you watch closely the word "pocket" is spelt wrong.

its only there for a split second, but its still there.

attached is a photo of the spelling error.

I would. It's not like it's a big deal if you don't though.

Wow, now we have started a new rumor in the Community Discussion thread. Any thoughts are welcome.

A mistake like that is hard to imagine when Mac OS X has a built in Spell Checker. Although, they are human. There are times that I forget to run Spell Checker. I forgive them. ;)

You are good! Tell them. May be you will get an iPod Mini. I would give one if I were running the show there.

If they don't know, they can't correct it and it makes them look like idiots. After all the nitpicking concerning other vendors, do you think Apple would stand up to serious scrutiny with mistakes like that? ;)

Yeah... I can't seem to get the email address to post without the link. I hope some other guy named Steve Jobs (probably living in Gary, IN) doesn't wake up tomorrow with his inbox innundated. Oh well...

    I always thougt Steve's email was steve@mac.com.

Another spelling mistake can be found in last week's Discovery Download. The spelling error is still on iTMS, and for anyone that downloaded the song, the mistake is also in the album tag on your computer. The album is supposed to be "Riot in an Empty Street," but Apple has it spelled "Steet." If you downloaded the song, you might want to correct the spelling in iTunes.

steve@mac.com is the demo one that he uses when showing .Mac onscreen. sjobs@apple.com is his corporate-assigned account, which is monitored by Corporate Relations. I should imagine he has a separate account for actually working... what with the tendancy of people like us to email him :)

Nice work, Phat_Pat. Let's give you the credit. You reported it and it was fixed in 2 hours. I think they owe you that iPod Mini now!

uh, i just saw it in the medium sized video. You have to pause it every few frames otherwise you'll miss it. So for those of you who think its fixed, you just go to fast to catch it. I really dont see how this first guy caught it. Did you analyze the entire video frame by frame? Do you normally do this?!?

    Check this: http://next.z80.org/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=230

Someone over there showing a reply he got from sjobs@apple.com. It kinda looks credible and the reaction sounds like one you can expect.
It could just as well be a hoax though.
