Does anyone know if Apple is still making the 17-inch studio monitors, (graphite and transparent, and they came with the G4 cube a couple years back.) I'm wondering because I can't find them on the website, or are they just selling the flat-panel screens, which are very cool of course, maybe I missed the info. I think those things were the bomb, even if they are on the bulky side. Anyone know?

They are not being sold anymore, try getting one second hand.

    Prolly not.

Apple did say they were dumping CRTs (that was before the eMac was released to the public), and LCDs were Apple's future. Sorta like them dumping the floppy drive, or say the legacy ports. ;)

My friend used to have one of those monitors until about two weeks ago.

Then it broke after a year and a half of use, so he bought a ViewSonic.
It was a very cool-looking monitor, though, and the picture quality was excellent.
