    From MacMinute:

"Apple sues Think Secret; Product rumors confirmed?
January 5 - 14:04 EST In its latest lawsuit to prevent product leaks, Apple has sued the publisher of Mac rumor site Think Secret and other unnamed individuals, alleging that recent reports on the site contain Apple trade secrets. CNET News.com is reporting that in the suit, which was filed Tuesday in the Superior Court of Santa Clara County, Calif., Apple identifies specific articles, indicating that at least parts of those reports (such as "headless iMac" and "iWork") are true. "Apple has filed a civil complaint against the owner of Think Secret and unnamed individuals who we believe stole Apple's trade secrets," Apple said in a statement. "We believe that Think Secret solicited information about unreleased Apple products from these individuals, who violated their confidentiality agreements with Apple by providing details that were later posted on the Internet." "

There didn't appear to be any reference to this on the ThinkSecret website.

a.) The news is breaking, I don't expect it to be on their site
b.) They probably have been advised by their lawyers to not post anything about it.

TS can always state that these were rumours and being on the nose is a 1 in a million shot however they seem to have been right on.

Rumours of an Apple Office, headless iMac, iPhone, etc... have been around for years. This only proves TS to be right in regards to these products. Apple seems to be slipping.

That is the angle that TS should fight the case on.

As far as the individuals they could well be speculators as well.

And all this only days before MWSF 2005. :)

Actually, I think the time on this thread is earlier by one minute than the thread you refer to. Maybe the other thread is the repost?

Either way, it sucks for TS, but I'm not surprised that Apple is sueing to protect it's sectrets. Doesn't help them in any way to have product info leak out before they are ready to unveil.

That is really cool, edesignuk, nice response.

With all the lawsuits from Apple it is certainly fully employment season for lawyers. All this must certainly hit close to home or they wouldn't act.

No you're not. Anyway, MacRumors posted it much better than I did.

    Cheers,
