apple tv in Australia

    Mine was sent on the 28th but today I got a little surprise

    30 Sep 2010 10:45:00 Hong Kong Delay. Recovery Action Underway
    29 Sep 2010 09:56:49 Hong Kong Shipment In Transit.
    29 Sep 2010 04:29:15 Hong Kong Shipment Received At Transit Point.
    29 Sep 2010 03:08:00 SZ1 Shipment In Transit.
    29 Sep 2010 02:56:22 SZ1 Shipment In Transit.
    28 Sep 2010 22:55:22 SZ1 Shipment Collected From Sender.

    stores wont have them until next week I believe.

    your guess is as good as mine. I was expecting it today but who knows how long the delay will be. It's interesting that it was tagged as in transit then 24 hours later said it was delayed. Normally flights aren't delayed by that long. Fingers crossed it gets here tomorrow before the weekend.

    Same for me too!

    Ordered when it was announced. Everyone laughed at me saying they will walk into shops and get one but interesting to read teh seem to be selling out.

    Yes won't be a big iphone type hit (YET) but I think WILL become huge for apple

    I asked at the store i get all my apple stuff (Not an apple store :( ) They said they'd get it in, in 2 weeks.

    Does anyone have any updates on Australia? I'm hoping the first shipments will arrive this week.

    I'm expecting mine today. It's been sitting at the depot since yesterday morning but nothing has come so far.

    Australian iTunes store is pathetic.

    Movie rentals are freaking far too expensive.

    The TV Show menu is totally useless as in Australia we can not rent TV Shows.

    What a joke.

    They are already available in apple stores in Australia, I picked one up in store on Saturday.
