I've been trying to link to the AppleNova forums this morning and they are down.

forums.applenova.com gets you "Can't connect to server"
and www.applenova.com gets you a " Domain Expired " notice.

    Anyone know what's going on?

It's the forum for Think Secret, formed after a falling out among some members of the Apple Insider board.

Okay, Applenova used to be appleinsider.org. Sound familiar yes? In May 2004, some of the staff was banned for creating a secret forum without telling the owner. In the secret forum, they discussed an ad free site. The owner discovered this thanks to a mole and he first banned a Admin. That admin hijacked the owners account. Then the owner banned everyone who knew about the secret forum. Especially the people who supported a move to different servers so they can be in an ad free community. So 3 mods and 1 admin created AI.org. The site wasn't ready for its debut, but the actions that happened rushed it. Now we live happily apart now known as Applenova.com. We are the official message board of Thinksecret.
