    I think it's just the informal nature of MacBytes: articles here aren't compiled by the editors, they're submitted by any user that wants to submit, and the editorial input is small. A quick check/approval by one of the editors, not a full read-through.

    So if a different editor saw that yesterday, and/or the headline is enough different, it's easy for a mistake to slip through.

    There IS an automated function in place that blocks duplicate URLs. But if the same article appears on more than one page or URL, then it can slip through.
