Ahhhh. I really was confused there for couple of minutes. I considered it a joke without giving it a second thought. Then I saw it on MacBytes and I had to reread the article to make sure it was fake. Thank you for clearing that up.

Okay it's a joke ... but someone needs to actually write this widget.

Just go out and grab a BSOD screenshot, set it as your screensaver, and hotcorner that bad boy. :) I don't think a widget can take over the whole screen anyway, can it?

And how do you take a screenshot of a BSOD if the system's crashed?

Introducing Microsoft™ Virtual PC™ for Mac™, which gives you more functionality than a regular PC by letting you take screenshots even when the system's crashed!

Sorry, I'm in a funny mood today

Thanks for the laugh. Wow, that had me rolling.

So, anyone wanna take a pic of VPC at the BSOD and post it? It does sound like a great way to make my PB "blend in".

Google "BSOD." There are tons of them readily available. I don't know how people got them, but they have.

I always liked the Xscreensaver "BSOD" that had all the kernel death messages from several different OSes... SysV Unixes, Windows, Amiga, Mac (heh... gotta love the Sad Mac), et cetera. Neat.

Hmm... I just read the last line of my linked screen shot...

Oh, and it's from XP apparently, which was meant to not even have the BSOD.
