Got it as a prize at Stump the Experts at WWDC... 10-client license, still shrinkwrapped. Is it worth opening it and finding a computer to install it (and OS 8.1 which it comes with) on, or am I better off keeping it as a collectors' item (or eBay it)?

AppleShare IP 6.x.x is very nice server software. Very easy to learn and manage. I still have a couple clients that use it (the rest upgraded to Mac OS X Server 10.2 or later). Pretty trouble free (as pre-Mac OS X systems go).
