when ever i use apple works i want save to the most current word format. I think word 2002 or xp or something like that. Any way whenever i save to an external format apple works crashes and deletes my original file. I need to save to word format so that i can use it with the rest of the windows and mac world that used ms office. Have any of you guys had this problem and is their a fix for it?

appleworks

If you want to make the appleworks
wordprocessing document readable
for pc users....save as XP etc
then after that is done (saved to the
desk top) change re structure the
name of the document to .doc
such as resume.doc

If that does not work I stongly suggest
you buy DiskWarrior and run in as
it fixes a lot that disktools etc cannot.:p
