    Hi.

When I choose the Aqua theme for Java applications, no widgets appear. That is to say that the window is black with the exception of a striped background (the common Aqua stripes.)

The menubar however contains entires, as expected.

Anyone knows how to fix this problem?

That's strange... try reinstalling the latest Java Update for your system, and see if that helps. You can find it on the Apple Downloads page, in the Support section of their web site.

Can't find any. I'm using a MacBook, which is an intel. Don't think they released any security updates for the Java thingy even.

Do you mean blank, not black? If so then I had the same problem... I gave up and did an archive install. Hope you find a better solution.
