I'm considering getting either a LaCie D2 or OWC FW 400 drive (120GB). Is there anyone who knows the market well enough to know whether 120GB drives are set to come down in price anytime soon? Maybe as FW 800 gets more widely adopted or drives get bigger or something like that? I'm not in a huge rush, and could easily wait it out a few months..thanks

the OWC FW400 drive ($189 w/ HUGE 8MB buffer) is probably the WD 120Gb SE, which costs about $60 after rebate if iirc (Best Buy's sunday ad) and the enclosure is about $60 online (add about $10 shipping, or get an enclosure from Fry's for $64.99)

in short, build it yourself. :)
